New-generation CleanCNG Compressor Deployed at Public Fueling Station in Illinois, USA

Clean Energy Compression has installed its innovative CleanCNG™ compressor at the first public CNG refueling station of Homewood Disposal in Illinois, USA.

This newly optimized reciprocating compressor adopts upgraded vibration suppression and noise reduction structures. Compared with conventional models of equal flow capacity, it achieves 8–12% energy saving during cyclic loading. The shared parts design simplifies spare parts inventory management for station operators.

CNG compressors serve as the heart of every compressed natural gas filling station. Natural gas transported via municipal pipelines at low pressure must be compressed to 200–250 bar to fill vehicle gas cylinders. Stable, efficient compressor performance directly determines the station’s refueling capacity and operating cost.
